The Device Verification System ensures that we have accurate information about the devices being used for testing, allowing us to deliver the required device coverage to our clients.

If you have been invited to complete a task and assigned to test on a specific device, you need to verify your device at the beginning of the testing session during the run setup process. Verification is necessary for all device types, including mobiles, tablets, gaming consoles, wearables, etc. You do not need to verify your device if a specific device is not required to complete the task.

For example, if you are invited to test with an iPhone 12, you need to upload a screenshot of your iPhone's details, typically found in the Settings > General > About page on iOS. Other operating systems might display the device details in different locations.

In case taking a screenshot is not feasible (e.g. on wearables devices), use your phone or camera to take a photo of the device details. Here's an example photo:

If the device details don't fit on a single screen, you can upload up to 3 images. Furthermore, you donโ€™t need to worry about your device's language settings, as our system can verify device information in the majority of languages.

After the uploaded data has been processed, you will see the results detailing what we found in the images. You can choose to accept and begin testing, or try uploading a new image if the extracted data is incorrect.
