When creating a Group you would usually set the required filters and choose suggested testers from the recommended list. However, sometimes, you would need to add specific freelancer Testers to your Group.

To add a freelancer tester directly to the existing Group, follow these steps:

  1. Open the existing Group where you would like the Tester to be added

  2. Click on the "Add Testers" button -> Search

  3. Type in the name or the email of a Tester you would like to add

  4. To add the Tester to the Group, open the Tester profile by clicking on the name of the Tester and click on the "Select" button OR just check the box near the Testers' name

  5. Click on "Add X to the Group"

  6. An invitation to your Workspace will now be sent out unless the Tester is not already part of your Workspace. If the Tester is part of your Workspace already, they will become part of your Group automatically.

To add a freelancer tester directly to the new Group, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Teams -> Dashboard, click on "New Group"

  2. Click on the "Skip" button below the Filters view

  3. Name the Group

  4. Click on the "Add Testers" button -> Search

  5. Type in the name or the email of a Tester you would like to add

  6. To add the Tester to the Group, open the Tester profile by clicking on the name of the Tester and click on the "Select" button OR just check the box near the Testers' name

  7. Click on "Add X to the Group"

  8. An invitation to your Workspace will now be sent out unless the Tester is not already part of your Workspace. If the Tester is part of your Workspace already, they will become part of your Group automatically.

Note: If your newly created Group doesn't have any filter criteria defined, you won't receive any updates regarding the dynamic changes within a Group and might miss important information regarding any changes within the Tester profiles. Learn more about the dynamic changes within a Group here.
