When creating a group, you usually set the required filters and choose suggested testers or scripters from the recommended list. But sometimes you need to add specific freelancer testers or scripters to your group.

Existing Groups

To add freelancers directly to an existing group, follow these steps:

  1. Open the existing group where you want to add people.

  2. Click Add freelancers.

  3. Click 🔍 Search.

  4. In the Search box, enter the name or email of who you want to add.

  5. Click a person's name and click Select OR check the box next to the names you want to add.

  6. Click Add X to the Group (X is the number of people you are adding).

  7. Either select the reason you're adding people manually or enter it into the Reason field.

  8. Click Add Freelancers.

If the people you added aren't already part of the workspace, they receive invitations. If they're already part of the workspace, they're added to the group.

New Groups

To add freelancers directly to a new group, follow these steps:

  1. In your workspace, click Teams.

  2. Click + New group.

  3. Under all the available filters, click Skip Filters.

  4. Enter a name for the group and click Save.

  5. Follow the steps to add people to existing groups.

Note: You skipped filters to add people directly instead of getting recommendations. Groups without any filters don't sent updates on dynamic changes within the group, so you might miss information about any changes to freelancer profiles. Learn more about dynamic changes within groups.
