Create a Run
To create a new test run, simply follow these steps:
Navigate to the Runs module by clicking on "Runs" in the main navigation
Click on "New run" and select "Manual". And Voila! You have just created a new run
Run Details
There is some additional info that you may want to specify when creating a run:
Run title – Give your run a title that is easy to understand by any stakeholder – whether it's a member of the Testlio team or somebody receiving the run results, for example, the developer who worked on the tested feature.
Testing date range – You can choose the period when the testing activity is carried out
Test lead – A test lead is the person responsible for the success of the run. This person will be highlighted to the testers as a point of contact during test execution.
Instructions to testers – Use this field to specify any additional information testers need to know. It’s shown to all testers before they start their task and is also available throughout the task in the sidebar. It automatically include a link to the workspace’s docs, where you can include detailed articles about how to accomplish specific tasks.
