If you have regular manual runs with similar scope, run duplication offers a simple way re-create a run's configuration, without having to create everything from scratch.
Steps to duplicate a run
Go to the Runs module and find a run that you want to duplicate.
Open the run by clicking on a row in the runs table.
Click "Duplicate from the more actions menu in the top-right hand side of the run view.
You see a few different options that you can include in the duplication process. Any options that you leave unchecked will be left empty in the new run.
Keep added tests - This copies over the task rows with the added plans.
Keep assigned device pools - This copies the added devices, keeping the same device per plan configuration as in the source run.
Keep assigned builds - The builds added to each task are copied.
Duplicate instructions to testers - The instructions to testers field is copied into the new run.
Invite a Test Lead - The system attempts to invite the same test lead who serviced the previous run. The invite to this user is sent immediately upon duplication.
When you are happy with your selections, click Create and your run is created.
