Overview

Testlio enhances its platform by integrating with AppFigures, streamlining the incorporation of app marketplace user reviews and feedback directly to testing pipeline activities and assessment. This integration is only available for Apple App Store and Google Play Store mobile application reviews.

Listing reviews and data update

All applicable data is pulled in and listed that is available in AppFigures. If the workspace has more than one data integration setup, all data is shown as one listed, sorted by date-time of the reviews given. The list can be filtered by app store.

Data is fetched daily at 5 am CT (US Central Time), which correlates to 1 pm EET (Eastern European Time). Only newly added data is pulled in post-initial sync.

NOTE: initial sync may take up to 24 hours since integration setup. If data is not refreshing, please contact platform support.

Key features

  • All reviews ordered by recent first. Use infinity scrolling to further.

  • Key information like how many stars, what feedback was given, and which country (only applicable to Apple App Store reviews), app version affected

  • Search – use keywords to search specific reviews matching interested phrases and those are highlighted as search result

  • Filter – use multiple filters to search and categorize the reviews list to your needs by store, date range, rating, countries, and app versions.

Make App Reviews your quality signal source to action and create quality user experiences to your users.

Setting up review integration

IMPORTANT – Only users with Admin privileges can add integratios

  1. When a workspace has no active integrations, the eligible user (workspace admin in this case) is prompted an action to add an integration.

Users will be given an overview of all the existing integrations. Note – at first there are no active integrations.

  2. Click on "Add integration". An option is prompted for which App Store reviews will be pulled in per application.

  3. Both stores are asking for 2 fields to be filled in order to set it up – a) add App ID and b) Provide app name

    1. Getting iOS App Store ID

      1. Search the Apple App Store link. Example Netflix link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/netflix/id363590051

      2. The URL link contains the app ID - in this case, it is the 363590051
NOTE: do not include "id" as part of the ID, only the number of the app link - this leads to sync failure

      3. Add the ID and provide the app a name that offers context, like its iOS reviews

      4. Click confirm and you are now set up to receive iOS App Store reviews

      5. NOTE - initial sync may take up to 24h and is initiated daily at 5 am CT.

    2. Getting Google Play Store ID

      1. Search the Google Play Store link. Example Netflix link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.netflix.mediaclient&hl=en&gl=US

      2. The URL link contains the app ID - in this case, it is com.netflix.mediaclient
NOTE: do not include "id=" or "&hl=en&gl=US" as part of the ID, only the part shown above - otherwise this leads to sync failure

      3. Add the ID and provide the app a name that offers context, like its Android or Google reviews

      4. Click confirm and you are now set up to receive Google Play Store reviews

      5. NOTE - initial sync may take up to 24h and is initiated daily at 5 am CT.

  4. Once integration are setup, you will see them listed in the integration overview
