When you create a run, it inherits your workspace's default run settings. Sometimes, you may wish to alter these settings. Currently, we allow managing invite expiry settings only. You can alter these settings for both a draft and an ongoing run.

Changing settings for the whole run

To change invite expiry times for all tasks in the run, follow these steps:

  1. Click the overflow menu next to the run status.

  2. Click Run settings.

  3. In the open modal, select your desired invite expiry time. This is the time that the chosen tester has to either accept the work or decline it.

  4. Click Save.

Note: On run creation, default settings are copied over. Altering run settings do not update workspace defaults. If the workspace default settings are updated after you create your run, those updates are not propagated to the run.

Changing settings for an individual task

By default, every task in the run uses the run's setting. You can override the run's settings by following these steps:

  1. Click a plan to expand it.

  2. Click a task to open the configuration.

  3. Click Edit (the ✏️ pencil icon).

  4. Make the desired changes.

  5. Click Save.

The applied setting is used for all subsequent invites that are sent for this task. If the chosen tester declines the invite and the next one is selected by our algorithm, the new invite will be sent with the settings you defined.
