This section of the Issues report provides key insights into the contributions and geographical distribution of your testing team. By tracking metrics such as issues by tester and approval rate by tester, you can evaluate individual performance and ensure issue reporting aligns with expectations. Indicators such as testers by country and top tester locations reveal your global reach, highlighting areas of strength and identifying opportunities to expand regional coverage. Together, these insights help optimize resource allocation and ensure your testing efforts are strategically aligned for maximum impact.

Example workload indicators in the Testlio platform.

Indicator

What It Tracks

What Signals It Might Bring

Issues by tester

The number of issues identified by individual testers categorized by severity (high, medium, low).

This indicator helps evaluate individual tester contributions and the types of issues each tester commonly encounters.

  • Many issues from a tester indicates strong contributions. Review if the tester is consistently identifying relevant and impactful issues to reinforce their focus.

  • Few issues from a tester suggests underperformance or misalignment with expectations. Review tests and gaps with the testers.

Approval Rate by Tester

The approval rate for issues raised by individual testers.

This metric can indicate the accuracy and relevance of issues reported by testers, providing insight into tester performance and reliability.

  • A high approval rate reflects accuracy and relevance in issue reporting. Leverage these testers for critical areas and high-risk scenarios.

  • A low approval rate signals potential misalignment in reporting. Review expectations and tests to ensure alignment.

Testers by Country

The geographical distribution of testers, displayed on a world map, with darker colors indicating more testers in the given country.

This helps visualize the global reach and regional coverage of testing resources.

Great for localization testing to identify areas that have more regional issues, allowing teams to focus on those areas and find the root cause.

Top Tester Locations

Lists the countries with the most testers.

This list offers a quick view of where testing efforts are concentrated globally, supporting resource allocation and planning based on regional testing capacity.

It is a good place to review all regions the team needs to test localization are covered with enough testers. Allows the team to restructure or organize as needed.
