Exploratory testing is a type of testing where you are not required to follow a structured test plan, instead, you need to discover, investigate, and learn about the app using your own judgment and creativity.
As testing strategies are not specified in the exploratory tests, testers must describe their work process and result in the provided text box as shown in the picture below:
When describing the outcome of your exploratory test, make sure to document:
All scenarios and areas that were covered in a short, brief, and well-structured form
Found issues
Any important notes that emerged
Exploratory Test Example 1:
Task: Posting and commenting exploratory > Admin adding posts
Tester results:
Add new post with text only = OK
Add new post with photos = OK
Try to add post without internet connection = Appropriate notification is shown;
Try to open added photos to the post = unable: #30066
Post > add photos > remove photos before posting = OK
Add photos > Hold on photo > Minimize app = It freezes after resuming: #30078;

Comments: Generally, the UI for posting and managing comments is easy to use. Could be a bit more responsive though.
