Connect to the Testlio MCP Server

See how to use the Testlio MCP server to connect your AI assistant to LeoCore.

Written by Aaron Collier

The Testlio MCP server enables AI assistants such as Claude and Notion to interact with your LeoCore workspace – browsing tests, managing plans, working with features and labels, and more – all through natural conversation, scoped to the permissions your account already has.

The MCP server is only available on certain packages.

What AI assistants are supported

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external tools and data sources. The Testlio MCP server works with any AI assistant that can add a remote MCP connector and log you in through your browser (using the OAuth protocol).

So far, Testlio has directly validated Claude Desktop, Claude on the web, and Claude Code. Any assistant that can do the two necessary steps should work.

Quick start

If your AI assistant supports custom remote connectors and you have the Testlio MCP server enabled for a workspace, follow these steps:

  1. Open your assistant’s connector settings, for example:

    • For Claude: Customize > Connectors

    • For Notion: Settings > Tools & Access > Add connection > Custom MCP server

  2. Add the MCP server URL: https://mcp.testlio.com/mcp

  3. Connect and sign in with your LeoCore account.

  4. Review and allow access.

Now your AI assistant can take actions in LeoCore. To verify, open a new conversation and ask a question such as “What Testlio tools do you have available?”.

What you can do

The MCP server exposes a curated set of LeoCore actions so that AI assistants can work with your workspace in a safe, controlled way. You don’t need to memorize tool names, just describe what you want in plain language.
