Why we require screen recordings?
A screen recording demonstrates issues and makes it easy for other testers, Test leads, Engagement Managers, and clients to see. Furthermore, it can be used to evaluate if it is really an issue or not. Videos provide more detail and include the steps to reproduce as opposed to screenshots.
How to record your screen?
Things to keep in mind:
Please do not use screen mirroring for your recordings as this gives an impression that real devices are not used while testing.
In Testlio, a video screen recording attachment has to be less than 10 MB and in .mp4 format and with a minimum resolution of 720p. so you will need to convert QuickTime files and compress them before you attach them to your issue report.
